Please help support the Arlington North Rotary Flag Program for 2018.  We have been providing this service for over 20 years in the local community.  We service most areas in Zip Codes 76005, 76006, 76011, 76012 and select portions of 76013.

Our flag program covers Memorial Day, Flag Day (June 14th), Independence Day, 9/11, Columbus Day and Veterans Day.  We are halfway through our season.  So, if you click the link above or here to the right, Rotary Flag Program Sign up for Sept 11 and rest of 2018  It will take you to another window and you can click the link to the left to sign up and payment page. Cost is $22.50 for the balance of the year and can be paid online here by debit card or Mastercard/Visa or by mailing a check to us.  We will bill you in the Spring of 2019 for the full year (currently $45 a year).

You may also want to consider having a second flag at your home as some of our other subscribers do, especially if you live on a corner lot.   It's your choice.  Look in the "add on" section to add another flag.

We look forward to having you as a new subscriber.

We will place a beautiful 3' x 5' flag on a 10' pole in front of your home for the following holidays:  Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, September 11, Columbus Day and Veteran's Day.  Flags are placed the day BEFORE the holiday (except they go out on July 2nd for the Independence Day Holiday) and are picked up on the next day AFTER the holiday.  This gives you at least 2 days to enjoy the flag(s).

If you have questions or concerns, Mike Becknal, Past President/Flag Program Chair at 817-727-5062.
Today Arlington North Rotary President Scott Reading, Past President Adnan Bahar and members Terry Ip, Jimmy Jones and Laura Jones presented the New Principal Katiuska Herrador at Jones Academy/Roquemore Elementary School with a Check for $1000.00 for teacher support and aid for 2015/2016.

Look at the Awesome Card we received from Webb Elementary School's 3rd grade class.  We recently delivered to all the 3rd Graders at Webb a personal Dictionary for each student.  Part of our commitment to Literacy in North Arlington.
Congratulations for our 4 new Arlington North Rotary Members inducted by Past President Craig Forster this past Monday.  David Woodruff, Lashandra Strother, James Hollis and Jinan Binsaad.
Thanks to all the Arlington Rotary Clubs for hosting a a great fun day for Foster Children in Tarrant Co. this past Saturday April 18th, 2015.  Here's our own President Adnan Bahar working snacks in the Kitchen with other Rotarians!

ImageEvery summer for 31 years Camp Esperanza has been offering kids with cancer a full week of camp to play, explore and laugh. We’d like to think of this as a vacation from cancer to help them feel normal and safe while making new friends who share their journey.

This is all possible because of the Birdwell Foundation , each year the Birdwell Foundation raises money to fund Camp Esperanza which is free of charge to all campers. The cost of providing a one week camping experience for each camper is $500.00 which means we must raise $70,000.00 to operate camp each year. The Foundation is a tax-exempt Section 501 (c) (3), non-profit organization.

Doreen thanked Arlington North Rotary for donating 3 wheelchairs in the spring of 2014 for the camp last summer, this enables better mobility for some of the campers who have issues walking, this year Arlington North Rotary will once again be donating Wheel chairs to the camp, 4 more in honor of ANR member Dick McCree who pasted away in 2014.
