Vocational Service is an important part of Rotary, as Rotary Club members have a given "Vocation" as their classification.

Vocational Service encompasses Rotarians everyday living the "4 Way Test".

Our club will honor various people for their service to the community - such as a teacher of the month at Lamar High School.

>October is Vocational Service month each year, where we do a month long focus on Vocational Service.

In the past, we've also honored a Police or Fireman.

Every March, our club has a "4 Way Test" Speech Contest among Lamar High School students. Typically 4 students participate with the winner going onto the District 5790 semi-finals.

Jeff Provence is in his second year as Vocational Service Chair for Arlington North Rotary. He is also the Principal at Lamar High School.

Jeff Provence is also District Chair for the 4 Way Test Speech Contest.
